Food Carts!
Hi Friends, Debbie here with the new Food Cart Die! You’re getting a bonus post! I am sharing two more products from the new release with the cart! I loved the cart so much and having way too much fun making the cart, so I made two carts one with the Hot Dog Die and one with the Hamburger dies.
The first one I made was the Hot Dog Cart. I googled hot dog carts to get an idea. And there was a photo of red and yellow, totally gave me a New York Hot dog cart vibe. Okay, may ketchup and mustard is more like it! Any how, I placed all the dies for the cart that would be red onto my Anna Griffin die cutting machine. It’s great so many dies and one pass. Then with the detail pieces and the hot dog holder in a matte silver card stock. Then the yellows for most of the remaining dies.
The cart is really easy to assemble, I used liquid glue. There are impressions made when die cutting out pieces, where to attach another piece. When it’s all assembled if you want you can take the beams from the cart out of the awning and press it flat to mail.
For the big Hot Dog on top of the cart, I’m not going to lie. I had to make it twice, the first time it looked like a hamburger or a hoagie. But if you follow the curve of the buns and the hot dog it will look right.

Then with the Hamburger Cart I knew I wanted to make it look more like a BBQ Cart. So to me that is a Black/Red cart. I used a Glossy Black Card stock and my Pattern paper for the fry carton and the detail to the cart was from Doodlebug Kraft in Color-Color paper pack. Made the cart the same way and on the hamburger and fries I did some ink blending on the edges to give them the dimension.
I made so many Food carts and Food Trucks, I now have a Food Cart Pod! I hope you like my fun food carts, have a great day!
