Dandelion Love!
Hello Friends, the Quiet Sister here today. Today’s card is a Valentine’s card, but I can see using the Dandelion die set in so many other ways! It can be in a shadow form as a sympathy card or soft colors as a thinking of you card or with a sentiment that says “dream or wish”.
I started by ink blending my card panel with a cloud stencil and a soft pink ink. I used Taylored Expessions Cloud Stencil and Catherine Poolers It’s A Girl ink.
I cut the dandelion out four times using pale pink to a medium red to get the ombré effect. I also cut out the seedlings from the same paper. I glued the dandelions down so the softest color would be lower on the card and the most vibrant would be the highest. I added the seeds floating away above each dandelion. I then added the Love sentiment from the same red card stock as the red dandelion.
I colored the pearls with alcohol markers to get them to match the card stock. I added my card panel to a layer of red card stock and added that to my card base and the card was complete.
I also made another card using the My Valentine paper pack from Pixi Dust designs as the background.
